EMERGENCY MEDICINE - OPERATION/ADMINISTRATION FACULTY
Job Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with District Medical Group, is seeking a full-time, academic junior Emergency Medicine physician to join our Operation and Administration Leadership team.
Opportunities of this position include:
- Oversight of Emergency Medicine resident, fellow, APP, and faculty clinical education.
- Mentoring of trainees and faculty in clinical operations.
- Assisting with the planning, evaluation, and coordination of clinical practice in multiple emergency departments.
- Participation in the department’s QI/PI process.
- Career development towards a Medical Directorship role.
Candidates should ideally possess Emergency Medicine clinical operations/administration experience and interest. Prior fellowship training is not required but encouraged. Candidates should anticipate the complete support of the department’s faculty and leadership to fulfill the operational mission.
This physician will join our faculty group at both our academic Level I trauma center, home to an established emergency medicine training program with 44 residents, ultrasound fellowship, and our freestanding emergency department. Academic affiliation includes Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
Candidates should be ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible with an Arizona medical license. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, paid-time-off, malpractice and CME.
