The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Administrator works closely with the HRIS/Payroll Manager and supports and maintains the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. This role is 100% in-office/in-person.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Input and maintain employee data in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and follow through on action items.
- Assist in troubleshooting HRIS-related problems and identifying opportunities for improvement and/or solutions. Evaluates HRIS application release communications to identify service changes, evaluate opportunities, and implement new product features and bug fixes.
- Responsible for annual Open Enrollment modifications, benefit election builds, and updates. Performs module testing as needed to ensure all changes and updates function as intended.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Responsible for submitting HRIS IT support tickets, following through each ticket’s completion.
- Compile or assist with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs.
- Assist with creating and maintaining documentation of HRIS processes and procedures.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training materials and end-user training.
- Ensure data management practices comply with organization policy and legal regulations and requirements.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training sessions to gain education and a full understanding of the HRIS and relative HR processes.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and department projects as assigned.
- Act as a project leader and HRIS-solution expert, interacting with stakeholders to plan, design, build, test and implement new product features and functionality.
- Perform module and integration tests to verify that updates function as intended and do not inadvertently disrupt other areas of the system.
- Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas), Word, and Outlook required.
- Familiarity with SQL reporting and expressions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dayforce Human Capital Management proficiency preferred.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a problem solver and critical thinker that can observe, research and interpret data, and process results to drive process improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrates the ability to remain focused on tasks and effectively practice follow-through skills, including tracking progress and taking necessary actions to ensure the completion of tasks and action items.
- Familiarity with Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and within compliance of federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, federal, state, and local standards.
Education or Equivalency
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-High School education or certification relative to database management. This can include vocational training, community college courses, professional certifications, or relevant educational or professional experience.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience with HRIS systems and processes required.
- 2+ years' experience in database management required.
- Human Resource knowledge or experience preferred.

- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and motor vehicle record in good standing.

FTE Status/Scheduled Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may occasionally be necessary depending on department needs.
Environmental Working Conditions
- Normal office environment.
- This position is on-site - no option for remote or hybrid.
- The noise level of the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working with a computer.

- Min Hiring Rate $67,200.00
- Max Hiring Rate $84,000.00
