The Marketing & Communications Manager will create, publish, and coordinate social media, marketing and communications initiatives, both internal and external, with the specific goal to increase awareness and communication within the organization as well as with the public.

 

What You Will Do:

Social Media Evangelist

  • Drive DMG’s social media participation, with the goal of establishing consistent brand awareness on established and new social media platforms
  • Promote the organization through social media initiatives
  • Manage social media assets
  • Develop social media strategies that advance DMG’s mission
  • Maintain all online communication vehicles, including but not limited to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc.)
  • Actively monitor DMG’s online reputation
  • Chair DMG’s Social Media Governance Committee

Content Development (Print and Digital)

  • Create and maintain marketing and promotional materials
  • Produce content for both print and web, including brochures and newsletters
  • Coordinate organization-wide design, message and content generation
  • Create and maintain organization literature and other forms of communication
  • Design and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for all print and online communication vehicles, including, but not limited to the following: Newsletter; brochures and information kits; annual report; and social media
  • Manage creation, production, and dissemination of printed publications for education, development, and administration purposes (such as bi-annual newsletter, annual report, course brochures, and exhibition and event postcards)
  • Plan and manage projects that use visuals, video, and/or multimedia storytelling to support DMG. Potential projects could include producing short videos or enhanced presentations, supervising design consultant work, and designing flyers

Website Development

  • Participate in the management of DMG’s corporate and clinic websites, including overseeing the production of new content and shepherding its ongoing development
  • Maintain website design and operation
  • Participate in the oversight of ongoing updating and enhancements to websites
  • Collaboratively coordinate creation and update of web-content
  • Work with leaders and contractors to ensure ongoing improvement of website, including phased updates and redesigns

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

Experience:

  • 3+ years in a marketing role with a track record of increased responsibility
  • Healthcare provider industry experience
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design concepts and search engine optimization
  • Familiarity with online customer acquisition and/or reputation management systems desired but not required
