About the Role:

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for supporting efficient daily operational workflows of the Operations department including but not limited to charge capture, coding, and billing procedures that comply with payer policies, regulations, and laws. Will analyze all components and processes of the revenue cycle workflows to maximize charges and optimize billing accuracies that will result in operational efficiency, compliance, increased reimbursement, and reduce risk of external audits and payment denials.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Audit clinicals schedules to ensure workflows are being followed by clinic and billing team.
  • Other revenue cycle audits as requested by divison administration.
  • Perform ongoing reporting, monitoring and analysis of processes and systems affecting charge capture, billing, coding, and payment posting.
  • Process subpoenas, employee health charges, and patient grievances according to DMG’s policy.
  • Prepare accounts payable requisitions.
  • Perform related duties and assist with projects, as assigned by manager.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Collect payment(s) for patient balances. .
  • Efficiently and effectively navigate Athena, EPIC, and online payer websites.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

  • Medical billing and collections experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of multi-specialty coding experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of multi-specialty medical billing/collections experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with EPIC, and Athena a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in related field preferred.

Employee Health Compliance:

As a condition of employment, DMG requires its employees to comply with Employee Health standards. All employees must provide proof of Tuberculosis clearance as well as Influenza immunization (or an approved declination). Specific roles, depending on location/job responsibilities will require proof of immunization or antibodies for Hepatitis B, MMR, TDAP, and Varicella.
